My T61 shows the preview, The T14 not. T14 was a fresh installation (chimaera) while T61 is old (beowulf). VLC plays the video, as does mplayer. But it looks like the tdeio_thumbnil process dies and gets restarted again and again on the T14 while it works on the T61.
