Hi Thierry,

I did not initially try that, but I solved the issue.

PCLinuxOS provides this as a separate package: hplip-systray, which was
not installed by default with hplip. Once installed, it loads in at each
session now.

Debian and Ubuntu do not offer this same package in their repositories,
so they must somehow include it another way.

(I just looked in ~/.trinity/Autostart, it is empty.)
