Which does not change that from a user’s perspective the > naming of this command is really, really fubar. > ____________________________________________________ If I remember correctly, for aptitude, "soft-upgrade" was added as the equivalent for "upgrade" and "full-upgrade" was added as the equivalent for "dist-upgrade".
