I'm not sure which "Settings" menu you mean. If you mean "Settings" on the
main TDE menu, there is no KMenuEdit.

Yes, but if I click that item, nothing happens.

I immediately get an error saying: "Unable to contact khotkeys. Your changes
are saved, but they could not be activated [even though this is NOT after
trying to change anything, just after selecting "Edit Item"]".
