thank you for quick reply. Yes, this is a LUKS device. I'm happy to hear this will be supported in 
Trinity.

Right. So I am able to unlock the device with:

cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sdb6 my_drive

and then Trinity asks me for a password to decrypt the drive. If I provide the password I get an 
error "Error: device /dev/dm-2 is not removable". I don't know whether this is expected. For now 
I just mount the unlocked drive with mount and that works without problems.
