GRUB is installed on /dev/sda, grub.cfg is on /dev/sda1/boot/<...>, FreeBSD is on /dev/sda2 | /dev/ada0p2s* ? You are trying to boot from grub? Does the grub chainloader manage to boot the FreeBSD bootloader?
