you might want to check and see if the mouse wheel can change that just 
by hovering the mouse over it and rolling the wheel. IMO it should not, 
but it does totally muck up the "sticky" stuff anyway.  Sad state of 
affairs when you have to pay $75 usd to get a mouse with a clicker on 
the wheel so it doesn't move when your finger isn't touching it. All the 
cheaper stuff can move just by breathing 3 feet away from it in an 
otherwise quiet room.
