Hi MLR,

the problem with start arduino ide is definitely not caused by writing
to /etc/tqt3/tqt_plugins_3.5rc.tmp. This message only diverts attention
from the real problem. Please do:

1. apt-get purge kgtk-qt3-trinity
2. log out from TDE
3. log in again to TDE
4. try to run arduino ide

Cheers
