Good day everyone, I am trying to connect to #trinity-desktop with kopete and always get an empty chat window. I don't have much experience with kopete/IRC and am frustrated cause I can't find the reason why it doesn't work. I have a few questions about kopete: 1.) Are the server lists still up-to-date and usable? 2.) Do I have to register to join #trinity-desktop? (which wasn't necessary 1 1/2 years ago, IIRC.) 3.) kopete seems to try only one server at connect and after timeout or when it failed (I don't know, no message) it stays offline and doesn't try another or the next server in the list. This happens with #irchelp on EFNet. Also it doesn't always seem to connect to the first server in the list as an priority. Is this normal/expected? However, I am able to connect to other channels like #bash, #freenode-community, #devuan and others. I got stuck and feel puzzled. Kopete's UI doesn't help me either. Please forgive my ignorance and advise on probably basic things. What do I miss?
