"settings > peripherals > storage media > advanced tab > enable notification popup checkbox" has no effect when "~/.trinity/share/config/medianotifierrc" contains an entry for the media type in question ("media/dvdvideo" in my case). Deleting the line makes the popup reappear. I created a *.desktop-file from the popup dialog, which created a file "~/.trinity/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/xine.desktop". That file contains the line "Exec=xine dvd://". I expected it to start xine, but it didn't. Instead a popup dialog appeared, saying "mount: /media/cdrom: ... not found". I changed the entry to "Exec=xine dvd:// #%U" and this time all worked as expected. Is this expected beviour or sould I file a bug report?
