Somehow or other, I got that trick working with Kubuntu Hardy many years. I just set up the address of the drive with the prefix "deb" or "deb-src" and it worked; but now I can't get it going. I downloaded the DVD images of Debian packages, but apt will not recognize them when I try to add them as sources.
