What is the package you need?

Yes, they are downloaded, but placed in subfolders, like the folder
tde-tqtinterface with the PKGBUILD is found in:
~/Software/trinity/R14.0.4/tde-core/tde-tqtinterface

I think I had that tried once but it corrupted the system very badly, so
I removed it.

Currently, there is nothing installed related to TDE. I want to instal
it because of one piece of software that I have been using for a long
time and is no longer being developed, thus it works only under kde3.
Currently I have a TDE installation in a virtual machine, but I don't
like that setup. I'd prefer it on the running system.
