Also, I don't know if I will make money directly by these books, but there are many indirect rewards that come as a result of publishing, and I am trying to make a book that is unlike anything in its field (or fields). Already said this earlier, but I'm in San Francisco, possibly the most expensive place to live on earth. And I don't work in tech, and am a generation older than the "typical" or stereotypical residents of this city. On the bright side, though, there are about 150 book publishers in the Bay area.
