    On my box when I plug in a device I get a popup window asking "what
    to do"..ie no auto mounting. None of my devices hace the "toggle
    ..." feature enabled. 

    
    Not sure this is a solution to your issue, hesitant to play with my
    settings as it working "fine now"tm.
