If the devs feel, enough people approve of it on the mailing

I doubt anybody has time to work on it, but you can just open a bug
with the request and it will be handled.

Users can already do this. This simply changes the default config.

i already did. They are worried users will start complaining.

In truth - I'm now testing it on myself. I leave aside that it looks
strange in design - originally the icons were nicely compact, now there
is a "hole". Note that I use minimalist window titles - style B II. For
now, every time I go to the icons, I'm surprised - the change, though
small, disturbs me. We'll see how it will be after a few days. At the
same time, I must admit that sometimes I accidentally closed the window
instead of maximizing, so the small gap seems to be a good idea.

I leave the time for testing and we'll see what the decision will be.
We look forward to the opinions of other users.

Cheers

It's been a week that I test on myself the proposed addition of a gap
before the button to close window. Although I am constantly surprised by
the presence of this gap, I must say that all the time I did not
accidentally close any window.

Is there anyone else who has tried this?

Cheers

Hi,

I don't see any real benefit in adding that space, I find it uglier also.

Just my opinion. Have a great day!

I use the crystal theme and have no problem with the icons. Or maybe you are referring to something else?

Cheer,
