I don't see there a solution for TDE. Reading the description of IBus, I
think it might not work in TDE unless there is some work around as it uses
dbus and other tools that are not integrated in TDE.

When I select Chinese keyboard, I see "setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout
cn,us". I guess it would work if I had the required packages installed, but
nothing worked.
