  Slax used to be a Slackware derivative, however since version 9 it is 
PURE DEBIAN!  Sorry about the yell.  :-(

  So, if you are clued enough in Debian, can you please show me how to 
restore the "Persistent Changes" feature in the Slax with Trinity 
version?
