Did you install the TDE & Trinity packages for sudo? 

sudo apt-get install sudo-trinity tdesudo-trinity kdesudo-trinity 

This might be a little different on your system, as I run Debian not 
Slackware. Until I've installed these packages I always have similar 
problems.
