Hello Rolf,

the log-file path is:
/var/log/tdm.log

i have a running/working multi-head (three monitors) setup with TDE and a 
Nvidia-Card, but i'm using the proprietary driver from http://nvidia.com/ and 
not nouveau. I only use nouveau for older cards.

Are you using nvidia-settings, or krandr? I used nvidia-settings.
