Hi Felix, I didn't see an answer to this and it's been a while so I'll have a go but I warn you that although I have used Slackware and Redhat/Fedora and Debian/Ubuntu/Devuan I have never used OpenSuse (nor Zypper) so if you'd rather wait for someone more knowledgeable to come along that's fine.
