Hi Nik,
The versions are not the problem. All the software is upgraded to the
latest versions.
I've tried many variations of removing and installing
elogind/consolekit/policykit etal and whichever scenario results in
conflicts on these i386 installations.
I can and have worked round them but it's off putting for a potential
new user to be met with a screen full of warnings/errors/suggestions
which may mean nothing to them.
