Dependencies between packages are set to provide a smooth update between 
final releases. Therefore, there is a smooth upgrade from R14.0.8 to a 
newer release. But because R14.1.0 are still pre-packages, dependencies 
specifying stable versions do not ensure a smooth upgrade within these 
pre-packages. That's why testers have a harder job :)
