Edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/tdm-trinity.postinst and add " -x" without
the quotes to the end of the first line.

Then do "dpkg-reconfigure tdm-trinity" and you'll see where it's
failing.

Ideally once all is solved you should remove the " -x".
