Could you please try FreeBSD 11? 10.3 will reach EOL in less than a year now. Giving the manpower available, it's not likely that there will be a fully working TDE for 10.3 in that time. Another reason for 11 is that all folks I know have already moved their desktop boxes to 11, so there's nothing to gain on 10.3.
