For targetcli ignoring TYPE_TAPE devices for PSCSI export, please go ahead and add a bug here: https://github.com/Datera/targetcli/issues > Adding with tcm_node it shows up as a broken storage link. > > Manually creating in /sys/kernel/config/target/core, the kernel panic when > 'echo 1 > enable' > > > Any ideas? Unfortunately, the original bug above was not resolved. I think this should be a pretty simple fix, but haven't got back to making mhvtl TYPE_TAPE emulation work on recent upstream code to debug this issue. Do you happen to have your kernel OOPs backtrace handy..? > lsscsi -vg > [0:0:0:0] cd/dvd SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148C B100 /dev/sr0 /dev/sg0 > dir: /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0 > [/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0f.1/ata1/host0/target0:0:0/0:0:0:0] > [2:0:5:0] tape TANDBERG TS400 0417 /dev/st0 /dev/sg1 > dir: /sys/bus/scsi/devices/2:0:5:0 > [/sys/devices/pci0000:01/0000:01:0a.0/host2/target2:0:5/2:0:5:0] > [2:1:0:0] disk MegaRAID LD 0 RAID1 69G 199D /dev/sda /dev/sg2 > dir: /sys/bus/scsi/devices/2:1:0:0 > [/sys/devices/pci0000:01/0000:01:0a.0/host2/target2:1:0/2:1:0:0] > > Thank you, --nab -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe target-devel" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
