test if initiator exists anymore?

Hi list,

how can I test if an initiator is already active?

I.e. a computer boots a windows image over linux-iscsi target and then
the user powers off the computer in a hard way. How can I see this on
iscsi-target state? Ping doesnt work properly, because windows filters
ping echo per default. Maybe an arp request?

Are there any status information files in
/sys/kernel/config/target/iscsi/... for this?

Tfh!

Regards,
Oliver
