Hello,

Sorry, it is a bad configuration :
o- qla2xxx ............................................................. [Targets: 1]
  o- naa.2100001b3215dd57 ................................................ [gen-acls]
    o- acls ............................................................... [ACLs: 1]
    | o- naa.2000001b3206f1a1 ...................................... [Mapped LUNs: 1] <-- error
         naa.2100001b3206f1a1 is better !!!

The bad performance is due to the Cassini Ethernet Card a Quad 1gb with a pci connector.
The Dell 390 has not pci-x, I found a Brodcom Pcie it is better.
It is better to use fileio with /dev/vgdata/lvdiskfc than a mount disk.

time mkfile 780M toto -> FC 2gb mount lvm
Real : 11.1
user :  0.0
sys  :  1.2

time mkfile 780M toto -> FC 2gb /dev/vgdata/lvdiskfc
Real :  4.1
user :  0.0
sys  :  1.2

time mkfile 780M toto -> iscsi disk Broadcom pcie 1000e
Real : 6.8
user : 0.0
sys  : 1.3

A question :

Is system parameter to control cache like Zil or Arc (see Zfs on linux) ?

Best Regards
Pascal

Objet: Don't see the disk

Hello Andy,

This afternoon, after the iscsi target, I remake the configuration on the server.

I don't touch the precedante configuration on the swicht fiber channel, the card are the same, the initiator is a solarix x86. Same configuration, after the lost of the target's disk.

Before the crash, I have this version : targetcli-2.1.fb34-1.fc20.noarch.rpm, it is hard but I found the missing switch SanBox2 configuration.

But today, I have targetcli.noarch                         2.1.fb35-1.fc20               @updates

My qla2xxx is good :
--------------->
/qla2xxx> ls
o- qla2xxx ............................................................. [Targets: 1]
  o- naa.2100001b3215dd57 ................................................ [gen-acls]
    o- acls ............................................................... [ACLs: 1]
    | o- naa.2000001b3206f1a1 ...................................... [Mapped LUNs: 1]
    |   o- mapped_lun0 ................................ [lun0 fileio/bs_fc_test (rw)]
    o- luns ............................................................... [LUNs: 1]
      o- lun0 ............................ [fileio/bs_fc_test (/dev/vgdata/lvdiskfc)]
---------->

But on the initiator solaris x86 I have :

# cfgadm -al
Ap_Id                          Type         Receptacle   Occupant     Condition

c5 fc connected unconfigured unknown <- the second port

NO DISK with the fiber channel !!!!
Reboot on Fedora 20, Reboot with configuration on solaris, no effects.

Thank for your help.
