It turns out that I'm impatient. The VMFS creation works but takes much
longer than on rtsos or saniq for large volumes:
Linus tip:
4 TB - 15 minutes 36 seconds
2 TB - 8 minutes 4 seconds
1 TB - 4 minutes 19 seconds
500 GB - 2 minutes 20 seconds
375 GB - 2 minutes
250 GB - 1 minutes 30 seconds
100 GB - < 1 minutes
RTSos.x86_64-3.1.918:
4 TB - 26 seconds
Any idea what is causing the additional latency?
