Hi,
I want to create a 16G FC target with LIO software, the topology is simple.
I use one Dell 7010MT desktop PC to directly connect to Dell R720
server. I installed Qlogic 16G FC HBA in both PC and server (Qlogic
2660).
Here is the setup process -
a. Installed Qlogic 16G FC HBA card (model 2660), and configured RAID
5 on R720 with BIOS setup;
b. Installed CentOS 6.4 x64 version;
c. Upgrade Linux kernel from 2.6.32.xxx to 3.9.11 (stable version);
d. Configured LIO with targetcli command - There is a new TCM_FC
target detected;
d.1 created a fileio backstore;
d.2 instantiated a target;
d.3 exported a LUN 0;
d.4 defined access right which allows another FC initiator to access
Please note that there is no any error message during the LIO setup.
But, after all these configurations completed, we found that PC can
not detect the target. So, anyone could tell me why?
