I've updated my box to the newest rtslib from Git now, and the problem
went away.
New packages would be nice, however the "RTSLibError: Expected type
'unicode' and got 'str'." issue I stated in the other thread still
persisted, so I had to patch that again. I'm still not sure if this is
a bug or some quirk in my system, though.
I don't understand, what did you have to patch again exactly to finally
resolve the issue?
