Hi folks,

Here are the handful of incremental patches that I'll be applying to for-next
on top of hch' "target: pass sense_reason as a return value" change proposed
for-3.8 code.

These changes address a handful bugs + regressions introduced to target core
by the conversion that I've noticed during recent review.
