machinectl: why IPv4 Addresses has an ellipsis (truncated)

For example, this is from Arch Linux with systemd 257.2-2,

----
$ machinectl
MACHINE CLASS SERVICE OS VERSION ADDRESSES
awwan-test container systemd-nspawn arch -       fe80::54b5:33ff:fe65:f5e2

1 machines listed.

$ machinectl
MACHINE CLASS SERVICE OS VERSION ADDRESSES
awwan-test container systemd-nspawn arch -       169.254.71.88…
----

Why the ADDRESSES needs to be truncated?
Why user needs to type "machinectl --full" to see the whole addresses?

----
$ machinectl --full
MACHINE CLASS SERVICE OS VERSION ADDRESSES
awwan-test container systemd-nspawn arch -       169.254.71.88
                                                 fe80::54b5:33ff:fe65:f5e2
----

I just curious because this has been boggled my mind since working with mkosi and nspawn.
Maybe it just me, with one or two containers, does anyone with dozens or maybe hundreds of nspawn, has the same user experience issue?
