Whatever tool or method is managing that is the one that you will need to modify to put the address you want into the file. Could we cut out the pedantry here ? So, fine it is a symlink to "/run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf", you're right. My question remains technically valid. So how about I re-write my question as follows: How do I make /run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf show 127.0.0.54 ?
