The Surface Transportation Board announced today an updated fee list that
incorporates a recent Board decision to reduce the fees charged for filing
formal complaints, including rate complaints and unreasonable practice
complaints, to $350, and the maintenance of the $150 fee to file an
expedited small rate case.

Under the new fee schedule, all of the
                                     Board's user fees have either
                                     decreased slightly or remain
unchanged. In addition to the formal
complaint fee reduction, a dozen of
the agency's use fees have decreased,
while 113 others have not changed. The
fee list was last updated in 2010.
