Mulvey today announced his appointment of Jamie P. Rennert, Esq. as his Chief of Staff. Since 2002, Ms. Rennert has served in the STB's Office of the General Counsel. In 2004 and 2006, she served as Attorney-Advisor in Commissioner Mulvey's office. Before joining the agency, Ms. Rennert practiced transportation and regulatory law as a partner at the law firm of Foley & Lardner, L.L.P. in Washington, D.C. Ms. Rennert holds an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Michigan (1989) and J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1992). She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, as well as the bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a Director on the Board of WTS International, a professional association dedicated to advancing women in transportation, and was president of the association's District of Columbia Chapter from 2001-2002.
