The Surface Transportation Board announced today emergency telephone and
facsimile (fax) numbers for use in time-sensitive emergency situations on
Thursday and Friday, March 1 and 2, 2007. During that time, the agency
will relocate from its current location, at 1925 K Street, N.W. Washington,
D.C., to new offices located at 395 E Street, S.W., Washington, DC
20423-0001. The move will take place beginning at 5:00 p.m. EST on
Wednesday, February 28, 2007, until the start of business at the new
location on Monday, March 5, 2007.

On March 1 and 2, an STB staff member will monitor calls placed to (202)
 565-1573 and (202) 565-9011 (fax). Only critical, time-sensitive matters
will be addressed during the move; routine calls will be returned on March
 5. As of March 5, the STB's information line will be (202) 245-0245.

Please keep a record of these numbers as the agency's Web site, at
http://www.stb.dot.gov, may be inaccessible from 5:00 p.m. EST on February
28 until the start of business on March 5.

Today's advisory follows the STB's Thursday, February 8, 2007 news
release, No. 07-09, providing initial public notice of the agency's
 relocation plans.
