Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober has announced the matters
and cases to be addressed at the STB's open voting conference to begin at
9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2005, in Room 760, the agency's
hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in the Mercury
Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.

At the September 15 voting conference, the Board Members will discuss
publicly among themselves, and vote on, the cases listed below.  While the
conference is open for public observation, no public participation is
permitted.

THE CONFERENCE ITEMS ARE:

-->Government of the Territory of Guam v. Sea-Land Service, Inc., American
President Lines, LTD., and Matson Navigation Company, Inc., STB Docket No.
WCC-101.

-->East Brookfield & Spencer Railroad, LLC--Lease and Operation Exemption--
CSX Transportation, Inc., STB Finance Docket No. 34505.

-->San Pedro Railroad Operating Company, LLC--Abandonment Exemption--in
Cochise County, AZ, STB Docket No. AB-441 (Sub-No. 4X).

-->Pittsburg & Shawmut Railroad, LLC--Abandonment Exemption--in Armstrong
and Jefferson Counties, PA, STB Docket No. AB-976X.

-->Yakima Interurban Lines Association--Adverse Abandonment--in Yakima
County, WA, STB Docket No. AB-600.

-->Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad, Inc.--Acquisition Exemption--Rail Line of
Union Pacific Railroad Company, STB Finance Docket No. 34746.

-->Union Pacific Railroad Company--Temporary Trackage Rights
Exemption--BNSF Railway Company, STB Finance Docket No. 34694 (Sub-No. 1).

The STB's decision announcing the voting-conference agenda was issued on
September 8, 2005 in Meetings of the Board, STB Ex Parte No. 333.  That
