The STB will hold the oral argument at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in Room 760, the agency's hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in theMercury Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The schedule of speakers' appearances and time allocations as published in the Board's order is attached. The STB provided the schedule of speakers in its July 1, 2004 decision in STB Finance Docket No. 27590 (Sub-No. 3). Mayo, Jr. (Hogan & Hartson LLP) / 20 minutes GATX Rail: Terry Heidkamp (Executive Vice President, GATX Rail) / 5 minutes MATTER AT ISSUE: On January 6, 2004, the TTX Company ("TTX") and certain participating railroads filed an application with the Surface Transportation Board to extend for 15 years TTX's railroad flatcar pooling authority, which the STB's predecessor, the former Interstate Commerce Commission ("ICC"), had originally granted in 1974, extended in 1989, and extended again in 1994. Unless further extended, TTX's current pooling authority under the ICC's 1994 order is due to expire on October 1, 2004.
