This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled staging: vt6655: use ieee80211_tx_info to select packet type. to my staging git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git in the staging-testing branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will be merged to the staging-next branch sometime soon, after it passes testing, and the merge window is open. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From a6388e68321a1e0a0f408379c2a36396807745b3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Malcolm Priestley <tvboxspy@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 1 Apr 2015 22:32:52 +0100 Subject: staging: vt6655: use ieee80211_tx_info to select packet type. Information for packet type is in ieee80211_tx_info band IEEE80211_BAND_5GHZ for PK_TYPE_11A. IEEE80211_TX_RC_USE_CTS_PROTECT via tx_rate flags selects PK_TYPE_11GB This ensures that the packet is always the right type.
