This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled net: fec: fix receive VLAN CTAG HW acceleration issue to the 3.19-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: net-fec-fix-receive-vlan-ctag-hw-acceleration-issue.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.19 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From foo@baz Tue Mar 24 11:00:07 CET 2015 From: Nimrod Andy <B38611@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 10 Mar 2015 19:09:41 +0800 Subject: net: fec: fix receive VLAN CTAG HW acceleration issue From: Nimrod Andy <B38611@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> [ Upstream commit af5cbc9822f6bbe399925760a4d5ee82c21f258c ] The current driver support receive VLAN CTAG HW acceleration feature (NETIF_F_HW_VLAN_CTAG_RX) through software simulation. There calls the api .skb_copy_to_linear_data_offset() to skip the VLAN tag, but there have overlap between the two memory data point range. The patch just fix the issue. V2: Michael Grzeschik suggest to use memmove() instead of skb_copy_to_linear_data_offset().
