This is showing that the diff is totally different from what is
upstream.  Why is it so different?  Why did you not list your changes?

A bunch of code moved from one file (sev-guest.c) to another (core.c) after v6.13, but otherwise the two patches are identical, I checked chunk by chunk. But yeah, when compared via diff, it is not that obvious, I agree.

Are you sure you got the git commit id correct?
