This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled USB: serial: fix infinite wait_until_sent timeout to my tty git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/tty.git in the tty-linus branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From f528bf4f57e43d1af4b2a5c97f09e43e0338c105 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Johan Hovold <johan@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 4 Mar 2015 10:39:05 +0100 Subject: USB: serial: fix infinite wait_until_sent timeout Make sure to handle an infinite timeout (0). Note that wait_until_sent is currently never called with a 0-timeout argument due to a bug in tty_wait_until_sent.
