Unfortunately, this patch causes a regression, as reported by
multiple people. You have a patch named '[PATCH, RESEND] usb: musb:
fix Kconfig regression' that addresses the regression without
reintroducing the original problem.

I don't think that second patch is in the usb tree yet, but for the
stable kernel, we either need both of them applied, or leave
out this one as well.

The original problem is relatively harmless, so I think it's fine
to leave them out both entirely, or to wait until the second
patch has made it into mainline.
