This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled ARM: LPAE: use phys_addr_t in alloc_init_pud() to the 3.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm-lpae-use-phys_addr_t-in-alloc_init_pud.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 20d6956d8cd2452cec0889ff040f18afc03c2e6b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Vitaly Andrianov <vitalya@xxxxxx> Date: Tue, 10 Jul 2012 14:41:17 -0400 Subject: ARM: LPAE: use phys_addr_t in alloc_init_pud() From: Vitaly Andrianov <vitalya@xxxxxx> commit 20d6956d8cd2452cec0889ff040f18afc03c2e6b upstream. This patch fixes the alloc_init_pud() function to use phys_addr_t instead of unsigned long when passing in the phys argument. This is an extension to commit 97092e0c56830457af0639f6bd904537a150ea4a (ARM: pgtable: use phys_addr_t for physical addresses), which applied similar changes elsewhere in the ARM memory management code.
