This commit message needs some improvement.

You are removing a bunch of code, but you are not even stating which
PHY driver has the equivalent code to the code you are removing.

The minimum here is to write the full file path to the PHY driver in the
kernel tree that has the equivalent code to the code that you are removing.

This chunk has nothing to do with:
"ata: ahci_imx: Clean up code by using i.MX8Q HSIO PHY driver"
so it should be in a separate commit, with a proper commit message.
