This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled iio: Fix IIO_EVENT_CODE_EXTRACT_DIR bit mask to my staging git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git in the staging-linus branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From ccf54555da9a5e91e454b909ca6a5303c7d6b910 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cristina Ciocan <cristina.ciocan@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2014 16:07:42 +0200 Subject: iio: Fix IIO_EVENT_CODE_EXTRACT_DIR bit mask The direction field is set on 7 bits, thus we need to AND it with 0111 111 mask in order to retrieve it, that is 0x7F, not 0xCF as it is now.
