This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled usb: gadget: at91_udc: move prepare clk into process context to my usb git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git in the usb-next branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will also be merged in the next major kernel release during the merge window. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From b2ba27a5c56ff7204d8a8684893d64d4afe2cee5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ronald Wahl <ronald.wahl@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2014 16:37:27 +0100 Subject: usb: gadget: at91_udc: move prepare clk into process context Commit 7628083227b6bc4a7e33d7c381d7a4e558424b6b (usb: gadget: at91_udc: prepare clk before calling enable) added clock preparation in interrupt context. This is not allowed as it might sleep. Also setting the clock rate is unsafe to call from there for the same reason. Move clock preparation and setting clock rate into process context (at91udc_probe).
