This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled net_sched: copy exts->type in tcf_exts_change() to the 3.17-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: net_sched-copy-exts-type-in-tcf_exts_change.patch and it can be found in the queue-3.17 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From foo@baz Sun Oct 12 17:18:11 CEST 2014 From: WANG Cong <xiyou.wangcong@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 6 Oct 2014 17:21:54 -0700 Subject: net_sched: copy exts->type in tcf_exts_change() From: WANG Cong <xiyou.wangcong@xxxxxxxxx> [ Upstream commit 5301e3e117d88ef0967ce278912e54757f1a31a2 ] We need to copy exts->type when committing the change, otherwise it would be always 0. This is a quick fix for -net and -stable, for net-next tcf_exts will be removed.
