[PATCH AUTOSEL 6.2 42/53] time/debug: Fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup()

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

[ Upstream commit 5b268d8abaec6cbd4bd70d062e769098d96670aa ]

When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it,
otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just
call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at
once.
