This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled usb: typec: ucsi: Check the connection on resume to my usb git tree which can be found at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git in the usb-linus branch. The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree (usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.) The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the next -rc kernel release. If you have any questions about this process, please let me know. >From 99f6d43611135bd6f211dec9e88bb41e4167e304 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Heikki Krogerus <heikki.krogerus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 7 Oct 2022 13:09:50 +0300 Subject: usb: typec: ucsi: Check the connection on resume Checking the connection status of every port on resume. This fixes an issue where the partner device is not unregistered properly after resume if it was unplugged while the system was suspended. The function ucsi_check_connection() is also modified so that it can be used also for registering the connection on top of unregistering it.
